MRSI-605 was once the ultra-precise integrated pick-and-place / soldering machine of MRSI Systems under Newport (in 2013, MRSI was separated from Newport and merged into Mycronic). It was designed for research and small to medium-scale production lines, with the core features being ±10 μm soldering accuracy and multi-process integration, suitable for high-precision assembly of optoelectronic and microwave devices. MRSI-605 is a fully automatic high-precision pick-and-place / soldering machine with an unlimited frequency range. Its core parameter is a soldering accuracy of ±10 μm (typical value). It supports processes such as eutectic welding, UV epoxy bonding, and flip-chip assembly, integrates high-precision dispensing, in-situ UV curing, confocal height sensing, and real-time visual monitoring, is compatible with multiple packaging levels such as chips / carriers / PCBs / gold boxes, and is compatible with loading methods such as wafers, frames, and trays, balancing flexibility for research and efficiency for small-scale production.

Ultra-high assembly accuracy: ±10 μm positioning accuracy, high-resolution visual alignment and intelligent motion control, capable of handling tiny / irregular components; confocal sensor enables deep cavity / near-wall vertical height measurement, ensuring consistency of dispensing and assembly.
Integrated multi-process: supports bond-welding, UV epoxy, flip-chip and other processes; optional in-situ UV curing to eliminate post-curing offset; integrates high-precision dispensing (including MRSI-175Ag function), completing multiple steps of assembly with a single machine.
Intelligent process control: real-time video monitoring of dispensing and picking, 3D volume scanning and over-limit alarm, image storage for traceability, supports program-level image selection and archiving, ensuring process stability and traceability.
