The MP1580A is capable of measuring jitter and drift in SONET/SDH systems and modules at rates of OC-48/STM-16 and OC-192/STM-64, fully complying with relevant standards. It is the world's smallest jitter and drift analyzer and can precisely measure jitter characteristics at 2.5Gb/s and 10Gb/s rates. This instrument can be used in conjunction with the MP1570A SONET/SDH/PDH/ATM analyzer to easily evaluate the jitter characteristics of digital transmission lines, systems, and devices.
Product Features:
High-performance indicators: Fully compliant with Bellcore GR-1377 and the latest ITU-T O.172 standards, providing a jitter bandwidth of up to 80 MHz in jitter generation and measurement. At 10Gb/s testing, the maximum jitter modulation amplitude can reach 4000 UIp-p.
Multifunctional measurement: Capable of jitter measurement for both 2.5Gb/s and 10Gb/s electrical and optical interfaces. Optional drift measurement is also available. Combined with the MX150002A drift application software, real-time calculation of drift performance indicators such as MTIE and TDEV can be performed on an external PC, and other drift measurements such as hold, drift tolerance, and drift transfer can also be conducted.
User-friendly operation: Equipped with an intuitive and easy-to-use front panel buttons and menus, facilitating user operation. A VGA port is built-in, allowing for connection to an external display for large-screen display.
