The Agilent 86130A is a 3.6 Gb/s universal bit error rate tester that integrates error analysis technology. It can record and analyze errors, helping to solve design problems and eliminate manufacturing defects. It has an intuitive user interface, similar to the waveform shape of the Infiniium oscilloscope, and supports bit error rate measurements from 50 Mb/s to 3.0 Gb/s. It supports measurements with an internal clock source up to 3.6 Gb/s and an optional external clock. This device also supports industry-standard PRBS test modes and allows users to customize the mode, providing simple BER measurement settings and remote command support.
