The HP 81680A is a high-precision tunable laser source module developed by Hewlett-Packard (now Keysight Technologies) for dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) system testing and optical communication R&D. Covering the C-band wavelength range (1460 nm–1580 nm), it supports continuous scanning and mode-hop-free tuning, making it ideal for performance verification of optical amplifiers, components, and high-speed optical communication systems.
