The Agilent 83620A synthetic sweep generator is an outstanding standard for applications that require high performance and precision of the synthesis source, as well as the speed and versatility of the sweep oscillator. Through indirect synthesis, it achieves a wideband frequency coverage and precise 1 Hz frequency resolution (option 008), enabling the HP/Agilent 83620A to achieve low single-sideband phase noise performance. It also offers excellent harmonic performance, with harmonics being at least 50 dB lower than the carrier within the 2.0 to 20 GHz range.
