Product Description:
The 86109B module provides the highest combination of optical and electrical bandwidth required for tests in excess of 10 Gb/s. The electrical channel has a bandwidth of 50 GHz and the optical channel has a bandwidth of 40 GHz. Since the return-to-zero (RZ) modulation format is being used in the 40 Gb/s transmission system under development, the unfiltered optical bandwidth of 40 GHz is critical.
