The HP 83480A is a digital communication analyzer with multiple functions and features, suitable for waveform analysis in the telecommunications and data communication industries. The HP 83480A is a modular digital communication analyzer that can accept up to two plug-in modules. The time base (horizontal) of this instrument is at least 10 ps/格 and up to 1 s/格. The trigger pulse width is 200 ps and 200 mv， and the trigger sensitivity is at least 40 mvpp (normal mode) when the frequency is 100 MHz， and up to < 2 V dc + ac peak (+16 dbm， normal mode). The nominal impedance is 50 Ω and the connector type is 3.5 mm (male). Product Features:

For example, the optical channel plugin equipped with a calibration reference receiver can be used for testing SDH/SONET, fiber channel or Gigabit Ethernet transmitters at 155, 622, 1063, 1250, 2488 and 9953 Mbit/s.
