The HP 437B is a single-channel programmable average power meter. The HP 437B is a low-cost, high-performance power meter that is compatible with the 8480 series power sensors. Depending on the power sensor used, its frequency range is from 100kHz to 110GHz, and its power range is from -70dBm (100pW) to +44dBm (25W). This power meter is specifically designed for automatic test equipment (ATE) systems and demanding benchtop measurements, enabling fast, accurate, and reliable average power measurements. It has a compact design, with a height of only 3 inches and a width of half the rack width, effectively reducing the occupation of critical rack space in ATE systems.

Automatic calibration and zeroing: Equipped with a power reference for automatic calibration and zeroing, facilitating user calibration operations and ensuring measurement accuracy.
Frequency factor input: By inputting the frequency factor instead of the calibration coefficient, the operation process is simplified.
Pre-loaded calibration coefficients: Pre-set calibration coefficients for 10 power probes corresponding to the frequency list, allowing users to directly call them, improving measurement efficiency.
High resolution: Selectable resolution up to 0.001dB, capable of meeting the measurement accuracy requirements of different users.
dB offset reading: Supports dB offset reading, facilitating data reading in different measurement scenarios.
