The HP 5342A is a high-performance microwave frequency counter. The HP 5342A is a microwave frequency counter with a frequency measurement range of 10Hz to 18GHz. It can be extended to 24GHz by option 005. It has two input frequency ranges, namely 10Hz to 500MHz and 500MHz to 18GHz. The input impedance can be selected as 50 ohms (input 1) or 1 megohm (input 2). It features a 11-bit LED display, an HP-IB interface (option 011), and measures 133mm (height) x 213mm (width) x 498mm (depth). Its weight is approximately 20 pounds.
Product features
Wide frequency range: Capable of measuring frequencies from 10Hz to 18GHz. By selecting options, it can be extended to 24GHz, meeting various requirements for microwave frequency measurement.
High sensitivity: In the frequency range of 500MHz to 12.4GHz, the sensitivity is -25dBm; in the range of 12.4GHz to 18GHz, the sensitivity is -20dBm.
Automatic frequency measurement: Utilizing microprocessor technology, it can automatically perform frequency measurement, with simple operation.
High FM tolerance: The FM tolerance is high. In the automatic mode, the maximum frequency offset is 50MHz p-p, and in the manual mode, it is 20MHz p-p, which can adapt to different FM signal measurements.
